The dedicated talents of many individuals contributed to the design, development and production of this website. The Historical Society of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and this website were initiated by the Honorable Jack A. Panella during his term as President Judge. PJE Panella created, organized and wrote most of the material on this website. However, it was Peter Johnson, Esq., Legal Systems Coordinator, Office of Legal Systems, who provided all the technical support which included the design and format of the numerous pages of this website.

Additionally, special recognition must go to Jamie Schurra and Olivia Antonucci who served as summer interns in PJE Panella’s office and prepared the first drafts of the biographies of the former judges of the Superior Court. We also extend appreciation to Nancy Casciole and Doreen Lipare for their administrative help. Christopher Nace, the current Executive Director of the Supreme Court but at the time the Executive Director of the Superior Court, also assisted in the research and review of the materials on this website.

We are also grateful to Stacey Witalec and the Communications Department of AOPC who assisted in recording many of the interviews.

Lastly, we thank Jenkins Law Library for helping research the enabling legislation that created the Superior Court as well as materials on former members of the court.
