Biography
Justice Christine Donohue was elected to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 2015. He was retained in 2025.
Justice Donohue held a position as a judge on the Pennsylvania Superior Court from 2008 to 2015. She is a former member of both the Judicial Conduct Board and the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. She is the former chair of the Pennsylvania Board of Law Examiners and a former judge of the Court of Judicial Discipline.
Justice Donohue is a charter member of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation and served as a member of the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Bar Association from 1986-2007.
Justice Donohue worked for twenty-seven years as a personal injury attorney and in commercial litigation. She began her private practice career as an attorney for Sikov & Love, and then became a partner at Evans Rose Quinn & Donohue, where she worked as a litigator in state and federal-level cases. She would later become a shareholder in Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney when Evans Rose Quinn & Donohue merged with that firm.
